During the six days of touring the group covered in access of 800 kilometres following tour routes. The first two days were done in the central Swiss Alpine regions on some of the highest Passes and alpine routes, including the Gotthard, Susten, Grimsel, Susten and Nufenen passes : Not all the time in good weather! During our tour day from the first base camp to the second we encountered some of the most torrential down pours of rain this summer. As the week progressed so did the weather and one of our many visits into the mountains were blessed with truly magnificent weather. |
