TOUR RIDER
PROFILE
This tour is suitable for all riders and all
ages. Side cars, trailers, trikes, children,
four legged animals welcome.
There are guided daily tours, and Wednesday is considered a rest day.
Monday is the first tour day and Friday the last.
Guided tours will take you across some of
the most famous alpine roads in the region at easy pace
with plenty of time to admire the views and take pictures.
Riders wishing to tour on their own will receive road maps
and GPS routes each evening before the next days tour.
Disclaimer
If you or your machine can no longer continue on route during the tour then
it’s “time out”.
The tour must go on and your tour will end there and then. No refunds.
All Riders will need their own private medical,
breakdown recovery and holiday cancellation insurance.
The
tour organisers and their agents accept no responsibility for loss or damage to
participants personal belongings.
All Riders must obey local laws and road regulations and respect other road
users. SAP Tour does not
supply riders with motorbikes.
Riders should be aware that English is the first spoken language on SAP Tour.
Riders & machines/s must be in good health & road worthy.
Section1 tour information
Road Maps & GPS info is given out after the evening meal the day before each
tour – not before. Routes will take you across the local alpine terrain at high
altitudes. There will be one guided tour each day accept Wednesday. Riders
wishing to strike out on their own and navigate the given routes may do so at
their own choice. The organisation will not be held responsible for such riders
who get lost or suffer an accident or injury due to rider’s negligence or third
parties involved. The daily tour information is given out as a guide line and
riders have the choice to use this information as such. Riders are asked to
return to the base camp in time for the evening meal each day. Ferry’s, train’s,
tunnel, road and bridge tolls are paid for by the participants.
Section 2 Accommodation
Subject to availability. Double or single rooms en suite. Riders changing their
reservation will be subject to a
100 Euro handling charge and depends on room availability at the base camp hotel
or at another location.
Section 3 Tour Changes
Tour organisers reserve the right, without prior notice, to withdraw any part of
the organised tour, to make changes as may be necessary, and the extra cost, if
applicable, resulting there from, shall be paid by the participant. When the
tour is interrupted or has to be cancelled or ended for reasons outside the
control of the tour organisation, as well as in the case of force major such as
riots, floods. earthquakes, avalanche, strikes etc, the reservation becomes
invalid, with 100% loss of participation fee and no refunds will be made.
Section 4 Motorbikes
Participants should not arrive to the tour with worn out tyres or brake pads.
For participants and other road user’s safety, a daily control of all machines
will be made. Riders will be asked to replace worn out material immediately
before continuing the tour. The tour organisation cannot be held responsible for
any participant’s negligence or defects on their machines incurred before,
during, or after the SAP Tour. Special modifications, ordering new or used
replacement parts are the sole responsibility of the rider participant and to
keep their machines up to a safe and road worthy standard. The SAP Tour
organisation and its agents cannot be held responsible or finance any motorcycle
parts or mechanical work fees incurred on behalf of the participant.
Section 5 Rule of the
Road
If the participant does not comply with local traffic laws or the requirement
set out in this document then the participants tour participation may be
cancelled by the tour organisers and the participant will be asked to leave the
tour. This will result in 100% loss of participation fee and no refund.
Section 6 Rider
withdrawals during the tour
Riders that have started the tour and can no longer continue during the tours
duration due to:-
mechanical breakdown, illness, accident, private reasons, will not receive a
refund.
Section 7 Refunds
Should a refund be made then there is a 60 Euro handling fee per person plus any
bank charges.
Refunds will be made by direct bank transfer to participants private bank
accounts up to three months after the tour has finished.
