
SAP X-trémé 2011
Riders can expect
tour routes which will take them into
Austria, Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland.
This tour is
for experienced riders over 18 years of age and is open to any kind of motorcycle.
There are no guided daily tours. All Riders are free to move around as they
please.
Trailers - Animals - Children are not allowed on
this X-Trémé Tour.
One tour is being organised. 1/One either in June OR September.
2/Two tours will be organised if
there are enough rider reservations for June and in September. 10 reservations
start a tour.
Double reservations given preference and sharing double rooms is possible with
two single beds.
single reservations will be 30% more expensive.
The tour is
split into 6 nights.
3 different hotel stops with 2 over nights in each hotel.
Breakfast and Dinner included. All Garmin GPS Routes provided. Tour patch and certificate.
Tour days are Monday through Friday. Arrive Sunday go home Saturday.
Riders that have participated on previous X-Trémé tours can recommend riders who
they consider will be able to do this tour.

Terms & Conditions
All Riders taking
part on an organised SAP Tour must obey the local laws and road regulations and respect other road
users.
Riders breaking these laws will be accountable to the local authorities
should they be caught breaking those laws
and are solely responsible for the
consequences.
Riders should be aware that English is the first spoken language on
the SAP Tour.
Riders & machine/s must be in good health & road worthy. The tour organisers
and their agents accept no responsibility
for loss or damage to participants
personal belongings.
Section 1
Tour information
Depending which SAP Tour you have chosen and if there are organised guided tours
during the tour week (weather permitting) participants have the choice to join a organised tour with a guide
or ride out on their own tours without a guide. Organisers of guided tours and the tour leaders
cannot not be held responsible for riders who get lost or suffer an accident or injury
due to a rider’s negligence and if any third parties are involved.
Riders are asked to return to base in time for the evening meal each day.
*Suplementary charges for Ferry’s, train’s, tunnel's, road and bridge tolls,
increased accommodation fees and/or extra food/beverage charges are paid for by the participant.
*These charges are not included in the general tour fee.
Section 2
Accommodation
Subject to availability. Double or single rooms en suite.
Riders changing their reservation will be subject to a
100 Swiss franc/ 80 Euro handling charge and this depends on availability at the Hotel or Base-Camp.
Section 3
Motorcycles
SAP Tour does not organise or provide motorcycles for participants.
The tour is open to any kind of motorcycle.
Trailers - Animals - Children are not allowed on X-Trémé or Memorial Tours.
Participants machines must be road worthy before coming on any SAP Tour
Alpine Touring Is Demanding on all Machines ! Do Not arrive On Tour With:-
Worn Out Tyres - Worn Out Brake Pads - Worn Out Brake Fluid - Worn Out Engine Oil - Worn Out Battery !
For participants and other road user’s safety, a daily control of all machines will be made.
If a participants machine is not of a standard to be considered road worthy by the tour organiser,
then the participant will be asked to replace worn out material immediately before continuing the tour.
The tour organisation cannot be held responsible for any participant’s negligence
or defects on their machines incurred before, during, or after the tour.
Special modifications, ordering new or used replacement parts are the sole responsibility of the
rider participant and to keep their machines up to a safe and road worthy standard.
The SAP organisation and its agents cannot be held responsible
or finance any motorcycle parts or mechanical work fees incurred on behalf of the participant before, during or after the tour.Section 4
Tour Fees - Cancellations - Annulation's - Refunds
To secure a place on any tour requires an immediate 50% deposit to secure the reservation.
Payment must be made within 10 bank working days
(Monday to Friday) after receipt of participants e-mail reservation.
Final balance of payment is required two months before the starting date of the tour.
Late reservations received within 30 days of a tour start must pay the full
tour price immediately to secure that reservation.
Method of payment by direct bank IBAN transfer or by Registered Post.
Account and address will be shown on the website.Participants cancellations by signed letter only, post dated, received 30 days
before a tour start will be subjected to a 100 Swiss Franc / 80 Euro Per person handling fee.
Participants cancellations, by signed letter only, post dated, received 15 days
before a tour start will be subjected to a 150 Swiss Franc / 120 Euro Per person handling fee.
Participants cancellations, made with less than 7 days before a tour start,
or participant failure to attend a tour will result in complete loss of participation fee.Riders that have started a tour and can no longer continue due to:-
mechanical breakdown, illness, accident, private reasons will not receive a refund.When a tour has started and is cut short or interrupted and can no longer continue
with the advertised tour itinerary due to reasons outside the control of the tour organisation,
for example, in the case of force major such as forest fires, floods, earthquakes,
avalanche, military intervention, strikes etc, then the tour will be declared as annulled.
In these cases all participants reservations become invalid, with 100% loss of participation fee.
No refunds will be made.
Tour organisers reserve the right to cancel whole tours in advance of a tour starting date.
In this case any tour reservation fees that have been paid by participants will be refunded.
A handling charge of 150 Swiss francs /120 Euro per booking will be deducted from those fees.
Refunds will be made directly to participant’s bank accounts.
All Riders are strongly advised to have their own legal, medical, breakdown recovery
and holiday cancellation insurances!
By registering for
this tour you have automatically agreed to the
disclaimer and terms and conditions stated above.
